Receiptify - Custom Receipt Generator Web App

Receiptify is a full stack web application that lets users create, manage, and download professional receipts in just a few clicks. We built this for freelancers and small business owners who were tired of complicated receipt generation and wanted something simple but powerful. The whole platform handles everything from creation to client delivery.

2Client's Background

Our client needed a streamlined tool for generating receipts online without all the hassle of third party templates or complicated software. They wanted user authentication, brand customization with logos and taglines, and the ability to manage, download, and send receipts directly from one platform. Basically, a one stop solution for receipt management.

• Build a complete full stack solution with proper login, registration, and account management
• Allow real time receipt customization, including company branding and different formatting options
• Let users email receipts to clients directly from the platform without external tools
• Create a receipt history system that's user specific and easy to navigate
• Design a professional, responsive interface with really smooth user experience flows

• Built the frontend using React and Tailwind CSS to get that clean, responsive design they wanted
• Developed a secure backend with Node.js and Express, all connected to MongoDB for data storage
• Implemented proper user authentication with register, login, logout, and account editing features
• Added support for uploading and resizing company logos right in the interface, which users love
• Integrated currency selection, text and logo scaling options, and receipt preview/download functionality
• Created an email service so users can send completed receipts to customers directly from the app
• Designed a dashboard where users can view and manage their entire receipt history efficiently
